We invite you to join us for Bethany Health Care Center’s 4th Annual “Making a Difference” Award Dinner, as we honor Tom and June Martin, our 2015 award recipients. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and emceed by Susan Wornick, former WCVB-TV anchor and member of Team 5 Investigates.
For years Tom and June have supported many of the core Catholic Organizations in the Archdiocese of Boston. They founded Cramer, an events and marketing company, over 30 years ago. Tom is now Chairman of the Board at Cramer, while the day-to-day operations are managed by their daughter and five of their six sons.

Announcing Bethany’s 8th Annual Golf Tournament
We invite you to join us for Bethany’s 8th Annual Golf tournament which will be held on June 9, 2014 at the Charter Oak Country Club, Hudson, MA. Tee time is 10AM and concludes with an awards reception at 3PM and dinner at 4:30PM.
We know that guests attending the tournament award's dinner can anticipate an entertaining evening and auction with this year's returning emcee and voice auctioneer Mr. Pete Cronan.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of Bethany’s 2014 Outstanding Community Service Award. Bethany Health Care Center is proud to honor Tom Carey, President of Jamie Oil, as our 2014 Outstanding Community Service award recipient. Known as one of the founders and Chairman of Bethany's annual golf tournament for the past seven years, Tom has donated his time, talent and treasure to numerous MetroWest area charities and non profit organizations over the past twenty years. We thank Tom for his commitment to our Bethany residents, the Sisters of Saint Joseph and the Metro West community and ask you to join us as we celebrate Tom's contributions.

Bethany Welcomes New Advancement Assistant
Bethany Healthcare is pleased to welcome Mark Featherstone as Advancement Assistant. A graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, MA, Mr. Featherstone's primary responsibilities will include administrative and fund-raising support, along with project/event management, donor relations and communication.
Regis College Faculty Visit
On December 20th, 2012 some 18 former Regis College faculty members gathered in Bethany’s Assumption Room parlor with Dr. Antoinette Hays, President and Ms. Joan Sullivan, Director of Human Resources, Regis College for their annual, traditional Christmas visit. Guests who attended the afternoon’s Christmas reception included Bethany residents and residents from St. Joseph’s Hall. As Dr. Hays greeted each resident and shared fond memories, she presented each former faculty member with a Regis colored shawl and Regis tote bag. Former faculty and now Bethany residents, who could not attend the celebration event, were visited by Dr. Hays and Helen Sullivan in their rooms. During the visit, Dr. Hays presented each Sister Jacquelyn McCarthy, CSJ, CEO/Administrator of Bethany and Sister Brenda Forry, CSJ, administrator of St. Joseph Hall with donations collected during the annual Regis faculty and staff Christmas celebration.

Bethany's 6th Annual Golf Tournament was held on Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Charter Oak
Country Club, Hudson, MA. Emceeing the event was Susan Wornick, WCVB-TV News Anchor, Member of Team 5 Investigates, and NewsCenter 5 Consumer Reporter.
The tournament attracted a full course of golfers from the Metro-West, Metropolitan Boston, North Shore, South Shore, Western Massachusetts, and New Hampshire areas; it netted approximately $52,000 which will be used to help transform the lives and daily living experiences of Bethany residents who today call Bethany home.
Bethany Recognizes Dedicated Service of Staff & CEO
Recognized as one of the top long-term care facilities in the country, Bethany Health Care Center recognizes CEO/Administrator, Sister Jacquelyn McCarthy, R.N., CSJ for 30 Years of Service and 25 employees who combined have contributed 325 years of service.

Bethany on U.S. News & World Honor Roll!
Bethany Health Care Center has been named to the 2012 Honor Roll in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Nursing Homes, released February 7. U.S. News’s Best Nursing Homes recognizes top-rated homes in all 50 states and offers important guidance to families and healthcare providers caring for people in need of a nursing home.
The U.S. News Honor Roll highlights 39 nursing homes with perfect performance ratings over the past year.
"Only 1 home in 400 is able to meet Honor Roll standards by getting the highest possible rating in every category for all four quarters of 2011,” says Avery Comarow, U.S. News Health Rankings Editor. Click here for more information.
Bethany Sisters Celebrate Jubilee
A Jubilee Mass was held on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Bethany Health Care Center for three of Bethany’s Sisters of St. Joseph residents who celebrated their Jubilees. Below, left to right: Sister Mary McCormick, CSJ and Sister Mary Elizabeth Hession, CSJ celebrated their 75th Jubilee. Sister Patricia Malone, CSJ celebrated 60 years. Exemplifying the life’s dedicated service of these Sisters, “You are called, You dare to dream, You are God’s beloved,” illustrated the theme for the celebration Mass.
