At the heart of Bethany’s mission is a focus on the spiritual journeys of our residents. Our devoted Spiritual and Pastoral Care team helps fulfill Bethany’s mission of providing care for the whole person. The primary responsibility of our Spiritual and Pastoral Care team is to minister to the spiritual well-being of our residents and staff, including:

• One-on-one visits
• Providing a supportive, listening presence
• Accompanying residents through their joys and fears
• Advocating to ensure residents’ needs are met
• Accompanying the dying and supporting their loved ones

The team also provides for the development and growth of our residents’ spiritual life by offering:

• Mass four days a week or a communion service
• Access to the Sacraments of the Sick and Reconciliation
• Seasonal prayer services
• Small prayer groups
• Spiritual programs
• Annual Preached and Directed retreats
